Heavy-Duty Parabolic Suspension for LandCruiser 70 Series (800kg Load Rated)
If you’re running a mining fleet, you know that your LandCruiser 70 Series take beating, and they aren’t the most luxurious of rides. While you’re never going to turn a Landcruiser into a Rolls Royce, there is suspension upgrades that result in a far smoother ride.
We’ve just redeveloped and released our own range of parabolic suspension for the 70series Landcruiser, designed to meet the needs of mining LVs in the harshest environments.
What Are Parabolic Leaf Springs?
Parabolic leaf springs are a smarter, more efficient type of suspension. Unlike traditional multileaf or constant-load springs, parabolics are tapered in thickness along the length of the leaf. This design reduces inter-leaf friction and allows each leaf to flex independently. The result? Smoother rides, better load distribution, and less wear on your chassis and components.
How Parabolic Springs Differ From Multileaf Springs – Suspension guide
- Multileaf Springs (constant load) – multiple stacked leaves of uniform thickness. They’re reliable, durable, but rigid. Heavy loads are fine, but ride comfort and articulation suffer.
- Parabolic Springs – fewer leaves, tapered thickness, designed to flex progressively. They offer better comfort under load, improved wheel articulation, and lower stress on mounting points.
For a mining fleet, this can make a huge difference. Less vibration, less fatigue on your vehicles, and fewer suspension failures on tough jobs.
Applications in Mining Fleets
In underground and open-cut mining, your vehicles often carry heavy equipment, travel uneven terrain, and endure extreme conditions. Parabolic springs are perfect for:
- Crew transport vehicles carrying full teams across rough tracks
- Equipment carriers loaded with tools and spare parts
- Vehicles navigating underground tunnels where suspension travel and flexibility matter
They keep your 70 Series LandCruisers safer, smoother, and more reliable over long shifts.
What We’ve Developed
Redeveloped 450kg Parabolic Leaf Springs

We’ve taken our original 450kg parabolic and made it even better:
- Stronger eyelets to handle mining’s heavy-duty cycles
- Improved anti-corrosion coating to withstand underground conditions
- Upgraded shockpads for smoother, more stable handling
New 800kg Heavy-Duty Parabolic

We’ve also launched our 800kg parabolic, the highest-rated on the market. It’s engineered for the toughest mining applications where heavier loads are the norm, and reliability is non-negotiable. Features include:
- All the improvements of the 450kg variant
- Extra capacity to handle heavy loads without compromising ride quality
- Built to last in extreme mining conditions
