Industries We Serve
Mining & Resources
The mining and resource sectors face unique challenges, from extreme conditions and heavy vehicle wear to the relentless demands of tight schedules. These challenges require parts and solutions that are as tough and reliable as the environments they operate in.
Underground Mining
In order to access the rare minerals deep underground, operators need vehicles to transport them there! The conditions of these tunnels are extremely rough and rugged, meaning the vehicles used underground get beaten up way more than their above ground pals. For this reason most fleets are made up of the old reliable Toyota Landcruiser – due to their workhorse reputation and relatively simple mechanical design.
The underground tunnels consist of uneven rock, mud, puddles filled with salt water – you name it. This leads to high rates of mechanical wear and tear, but also corrosive damage which can be catastrophic in many regions.
Autoline specializes in supplying parts for underground Landcruiser’s, as we understand the balance between high quality parts, and total cost of ownership. When an underground vehicle is in the workshop, it’s actually costing the operator money, so we focus on parts that last longer to keep that vehicle in the field for as long as possible.
As of 2025, Autoline supplies our range of mining-focused TAKEO parts to over 50 underground mine sites.
Open-pit Mining
While the environment of open-pit mining presents less challenges than underground operations, maintaining the fleet of 4×4’s required is no easy task. Open-pit mines typically require a much larger fleet, with more total workers and therefore more bodies to transport.
Due to the larger fleet size, accurate planning and scheduling takes first priority, compared to the more reactive breakdown maintenance typical of many underground sites.
For this reason, Autoline places a huge importance on stock availability, supply chain strength, and transparent reporting of data. Open-pit operations are typically led by large teams, making the transparency of information massively important in a supplier relationship.
While high quality parts will always be important, with open-pit clients there is a larger focus on improving efficiency and reliability which leads to overall cost savings down the line. One way we achieve this is through job focused kits, which combine multiple parts under a single code.
With branches in the key mining hubs of Kalgoorlie, Mount Isa, and Adelaide Autoline is strategically located to provide fast, efficient support when and where it’s needed. From reducing downtime to enhancing operational efficiency, we’re proud to be a trusted partner to Australia’s mining industry.

Mechanical Workshops
Australia is a big country, and to navigate the harsh conditions of the outback you need a 4×4. This means that regional Australia is filled with light vehicles. Whether those 4×4’s are used for mining, farming, transport, weekend adventures or simple run arounds – one thing remains constant – there will come a time when a mechanic needs to get it on the hoist and bring it back to life.
Autoline supplies the regional mechanics and workshops who keep regional Australia on the move!
Out in the sticks, you can’t just run down to the super cheap auto and pick up the parts you need. That’s why it’s super important to maintain healthy stock levels, and also have a supplier you can rely on to source you niche parts when an odd job comes in.
The Autoline branches in Kalgoorlie and Mt Isa mean critical parts are never too far away from a mechanical workshop near you, no matter where you are.
Autoline also offers the ‘Takeo Critical Spare’ system, in which we personally manage your stock levels – coordinating the purchasing and stocking of shelves in line with your ideal usage. This way you always have the parts you need, and avoid overstocking the parts you don’t!
Civil & Hire
In civil construction and fleet hire, every vehicle plays a role in keeping projects on track. Whether it’s a Hilux running between metro job sites or a fleet of LandCruisers tackling infrastructure projects, downtime isn’t an option. When a vehicle is off the road, it’s not just an inconvenience—it’s lost productivity and missed deadlines.
TAKEO service kits are especially useful in these industries, as regular maintenance is important to meet strict safety regulations. These service kits combine essential filters required for routine maintenance, streamlining the purchasing process for large fleets.
With a strong supply network and expert sourcing capabilities, we ensure metro-based fleet hire companies and civil contractors get the parts they need—fast. Whether it’s routine maintenance or urgent repairs, we help you minimize downtime and keep your vehicles earning.
From 4×4 and light vehicles in urban environments to fleets operating in remote areas, Autoline delivers reliable solutions to keep your fleet moving and operations on track. With decades of experience, we’ve built a reputation as the trusted partner for fleet managers across Australia.
